This is the castle of the Dukes of Bretagne. 11th-15th century.

One of the oldests parts of the castle, protection against the ennemy.

The thick walls where a defense against the ennemy. The bottom of the walls was usually under water, the only way to enter the castle was the front door, with the drawbridge.
